Ratings and Terminologies

In order to avoid confusion and so many questions, I have provided you here a guide of the terminologies I'll be using on the product reviews. Also, the rating system will be explained here too. So, I do hope you will be able to understand the reviews I did and will be doing.

Terminologies

On item classification...

  • New - a product that has just been launched into the market.
  • Not-so-new - a product that is already existing in the market and has commercials currently airing.
  • Barely there - a product that is already existing in the market and doesn't have any recent commercials.

On ratings...
  • Taste Rating - the grade given regarding the overall taste appeal of the product.
  • Price Rating - the grade given based on the worthiness of the price of the product.
  • Overall Rating - the general average of the taste rating and price rating of the product.

Rating System

Taste Rating
- The following things are considered on the taste rating of the product: flavor (if it's close to the real thing), texture (whether it's soft, hard, fluffy, etc), and presentation (food design, shape and size).

  • Eww... (not good): 65-74%
  • Oh well... (satisfactory): 75-80%
  • Yum-yum! (quite good): 81-90%
  • More please! (delicious!): 91-100%

Price Rating
- The worthiness of the price of the product as based on the taste, serving size and price of its competitors.

  • Too expensive: 65-74%
  • Unreasonably expensive: 75-80%
  • Just fine: 81-85%
  • Worth every cent: 86-90%
  • Quite cheap & affordable: 91-100%

Overall Rating
- The general average of the taste rating and price rating of the product. It is computed as follows...
(Taste Rating * 0.70) + (Price Rating * 0.30) = Overall Rating

  • Excellent: 91-100%
  • Quite Impressive: 86-90%
  • Good Enough: 80-85%
  • Not Bad: 71-79%
  • Never Mind: 60-69%
